The Cala resort is one of the most comprehensive golf holiday destinations in all of Spain. Firstly, it's positioned in the heart of the Costa del Sol about 20 minutes away from Marbella and Puerto Banus and so the wealth of courses in the Costa del Golf are all well within reach from the resort. However, you may never have to leave La Cala as it includes three full 18 hole golf courses within its grounds, a full David Leadbetter Academy with its own 6 hole par three golf course, a driving range, putting greens, and pretty much everything else you could possibly imagine that's golf related. If you've experienced the Dona Filipa or Penina in the Algarve, then La Cala should be next on your list of 'must play' venues
