The Desert Springs resort is situated in the Almanzora region of Almeria, which is renowned for it’s rugged mountain landscapes.

The resort itself is situated in a mountain range resulting in some spectacular scenary and landscapes similar to the deserts of Arizona. Ideal for golfing groups - the resort comprises of a variety of accomodation including everything from 1 bedroom apartments to country villas.

When talking about Desert Springs the main word you will hear mentioned with the resort is 'unique' - and it certainly is. There is nothing quite like this in Southern Europe and it must be experienced to be believed. Although set in a desert style the golf course is in immaculate condition and is the focus of the resort as it meanders through the variety of accomodations.

The quality and layout of the course cannot be questioned as a recent visit by the European Seniors Tour will testify. It is without doubt, one of, if not the finest courses in Almeria.
Be careful if you do choose this as many who visit end up buying property there. Legends such as Daley Thompson and Beefy Botham are reported to own property here so you never know who you might end up sharing the first tee with.

The Crocodile Club - Housed in a unique African style long house the Croc club is very much the focal point of the Desert Springs Resort. The menu includes mediterranean dishes, frsh grills as well as popular pizza and pasta dishes.

El Chiringuito - Based around the pool at the Croc Club this snack bar serves lunch time snacks such as pizzas and burgers.

The Rosewood Bar - Again based at the Croc Club this is the number one meeting place on an evening to enjoy a few beers and discuss the best and worst strokes of the day.

El Torrente - Famous for it's traditional Spanish cuisine the El Torrente is the resort's premier restaurant. Based in the golf club house the restaurant gives the a la carte option as well as offering lunch time snacks on the open air terrace.
