Valle del Este is a true test of target golf. Very few holes actually require taking the driver out of the bag as precision is the key to holding your round together. .

Many holes feature raised tees that require a carry over deep rough. Although the views can be breathtaking at times, be sure to carry a few balls as this can be quite intimidating to the higher handicapper and it is easy to over compensate and miss the fairway either long or wide, or both in some cases..

The 9th hole is a particular eye catcher with a raised tee shot normally requiring a driver to set position for your second. More like a horse shoe then a dog leg, a further positional shot is required as the green is still not in site tucked around a tight bend and raised some 20 feet.

The back 9 is slightly more open but becomes somewhat of a rollercoaster ride in the buggy as you climb and descend so often with some drops worthy of a big dipper. Of course you can choose to walk the course but we would recommend taking advantage of the buggies as some of the tees require quite a steep climb to reach - and with temperatures normally close to 30 degrees no one would blame you.
