Course Information.
These spectacular courses are located in the Ria Formosa Park –
approximately 30 minutes from Faro – and are blessed with the
profound peacefulness and natural beauty which is inherent to this area.
There will be no villa construction around the Quinta da Ria Course,
with more than 300 olive and carob trees transplanted in order to maintain
the ancient border of the course and the typical features of the region’s
landscape.
Indeed it looks as if the course is of the same age as its centenary
trees, and from any place on the site, one can see both the mountains
and the sea. The surrounding orange trees and vineyards help make the
course’s landscape even more beautiful.
"For golfers who love to be in contact with nature"
The Quinta de Cima Course offers a great challenge with dog-legs to
the right and left and greens well protected by sand traps as well as
the presence of lakes – particularly on holes 16, 17 and 18. A
stream with dams and permanent flowing water crosses holes 4, 5, 6 and
13. Views are slightly different from the sister Ria course, but no
less spectacular and no less inspiring from any part of the course.
Both the sea and the mountains are a delight to any golfer’s eyes.
Since there will be no major real estate construction on these two
courses, it will continue to be a paradise to those golfers who love
to be always in contact with nature.
