Course Information.

Los Naranjos is not only one of the oldest, most prestigious golf courses on the "Costa del Golf" in Spain it is a Golf Resort as well. The course is situated in the heart of Europe´s golf eldorado the Costa del Sol’s well-known Marbella Golf Valley.

The course was designed and built by Robert Trent Jones Sr in the middle of the 70´s and the beautiful clubhouse was inaugurated at the end of 1991.

At a total length of more than 6000 metres when playing from the yellow tees, almost 6500 metres from the white Los Naranjos is a challenge not only for the average player but even for the very best professionals! This is typified by the famous finishing hole, a long par 5 with the clubhouse behind the green. Before reaching the green you have several problems to handle not least the lakes you have to cross before you get the chance to finally hole out.

The golf club has good practise facilities with driving range, chipping green and a putting green close to the clubhouse. It is probably a good idea to hit a few balls on the driving range before you start to ensure you get the most from your game.

Los Naranjos Golf Club is extremely proud of its restaurant, open from early morning until dark every day of the year. Here you can enjoy breakfast in the morning, a full meal between 12:00 and 16:00 from an impressive menu, have a beer (or two) in the bar after the game or, if you are visiting the club on Sunday be sure to try the Grand Open Sunday Buffet, well-known all over Costa del Sol! The restaurant terrace overlooks the green of the 18th hole, - a beautiful place to enjoy a good meal and excellent service after an enjoyable game of golf.
