of Pals beach and is surrounded by dense green pine forests. Its close

Opened in 1966, it is the oldest golf course in Costa Brava coming
to fruition through the efforts of Baltasar Parera Vilar, his wife,
Rosa Coll Llach and the course designer Fred Hawtree. The course is
typically British in nature with wide fairways that are defined by the
tall stands of Pine trees, raised greens that are well guarded by bunkers
and are built with subtle borrows. This course is a test for even the
best short game.
"Golf Paltja de Pals is an ideal location in which to base any
golf holiday"
The beauty of this course, its close proximity to the sea and its fair
layout makes it a joy for players of all standards, from beginners to
seasoned experts. The signature hole is the 17th a left hand dogleg
par 4 of 370 metres. Tee shots are confronted by the centenary tree
down the left hand side of the fairway and two bunkers in the middle
of the dogleg. Accuracy off the tee will leave an approach to a flat
green surrounded by three bunkers and trees that are most definitely
in play.
Golf Platja de Pals is located at Pals in the heart of the Costa Brava
and is part of the resort of La Costa Golf & Beach Resort. The course
